There are a LOT of algorithmically optimized youtube uploads designed to hit certain keyword objectives in order to fulfill an audience niche. In this case, the world of dark ambient mixes between 3-6 hours long, designed for sleepness or deep dysregulation (the band title being ‘help me’ a nod to this mental health context) is a very competitive space with mixes easily earning millions of views.
But in this case, this album is my favorite and often returned to as it has captured the melodic sounds of loneliness at 3AM in a way that I cannot unhear. At approx 27minutes, a song with the space siren sound is my absolute favorite but it’s worth the ramp up to this song rather than skipping directly in.
